Sampling New Maltesers Ice Cream Bars
iMP delivered a multi-city sampling campaign for Maltesers new ice cream bars. Using our thermally insulated branded sampling bins we handed 30,000 frozen products to consumers in the summer sunshine.
We used our thermally insulated branded sampling bins to sample 30,000 frozen Maltesers ice cream bars to consumers. Using the correct permits and permissions we targeted shoppers in London, Leeds and Manchester. Branded t-shirts (supplied by us) and our professional, enthusiastic sampling staff delivered 3 days of high volume, high intensity frozen product sampling. Not only was the campaign highly visible but it tied in with the OOH media on billboards and digital screens across the locations.
iMP managed all the logistics of the campaign. From the temperature controlled freezer van, food hygiene, permits, scheduling and staff we managed the campaign from end-to-end. Using our knowledge of the highest footfall locations in each city we distributed 15,000 in London in just over 4 hours. On the following days we distributed 7.5k in Leeds and 7.5k in Manchester. Response was huge and uptake was almost 100%.
Knowing how consumers move, feel and act in response to sampling is crucial. From choosing the right time of day (no point sampling frozen foods at 7am) to the right time of the week or month, we know the optimum times for sampling.
